I think that the codex entry rings true, Hades would appreciate it if Zag took some responsibility and would probably let him off the leash more if Zag didn't do this whole thing. I don't want to blame Zag for this whole situation because I think at least his motive is right, but it is pretty clear that he hurt the people around him pretty badly with what he is doing (Than, Meg, Cerberus, Hades at least)
