So I think somewhere deep down, Hades always wanted Zagreus to escape... but he also doesn't want to lose him, hence the emphasis on Zagreus being "weak" and basically interrupting the entire order of the underworld just to keep Zagreus and Zagreus alone with him. Hades only goes so far as to verbally warn those helping Zagreus, and only actually seems insulted by the help Zagreus is getting when it comes to the Olympian Gods. He could stop Zagreus pretty easily and just crush his dreams right there.
I think Hades fell into a deep depression or was otherwise miserable once Persephone left, and he either knows something about why Persephone didn't return to the Olympians, or he is conflicted about Zagreus actually finding her.

i just turn in a whole bunch at once and get a load of some random resource

but yeah you get the rare fish from the perfects, at least, i've never gotten anything other than knuckleheads and hellfish on good catch so far

It takes quite a lot of time
It took me like 20 runs before she stopped giving generic conversation lines like that
