Okay guys, I am very ashamed, because Hades is actually super easy. My girlfriend managed to finish the whole game from the very first attempt, no heat, maxed out mirror.
And I never had so lucky run yet: Rail rockets infused with Poseidon's tidal waves stuff, +30% special speed by Hermes + Euridice, +3 dashes and even Patroclus found time to restore all 3 death defiances.
So, it is all about luck >_<

I'd love to have alternate bosses, but I also understand the argument against it. Games like BoI have multiple potential bosses so it doesn't get old fighting the same thing over and over again, but there's also the issue of dev time. Do you spend the dev time making new bosses or making sure the bosses that you do have are really great? I think right now I'd prefer Supergiant to polish the bosses they have; a more-polished hydra fight would be better than a new boss, IMO.

So I decided to start knuckling down on prophecies and took rail out for a spin for the first time in a while
Athena and Explosive Fire worked to give me the kind of bang I was wanting from Spread Fire, so even if it's not quite what I hoped for it still felt much more satisfying than it did when I had used it with other gods in the past so that was nice
But wow! I'm not sure why people say shield OP when I just had the 2 highest damage builds of my entire year of play
Doom Special, Spread Deflect, Impending Doom, Merciful End and I was one shotting hydra heads from armour
I wasn't even absorbing the Eris blast (+12% damage) that often I was literally just dealing a ridiculous amount of damage
Never reached that kind of damage w even Chaos shield so while it has high defense its damage potential seems a lot more moderate in comparison, even on my deflect crit chance triple Athena rocket run I absolutely chewed through Hades without using the aspect
