I had assumed that, despite it being based around Greek mythology, there's no reason to assume that the game takes place during ancient Greece, so he could be referring to nuclear winter.
Though I suppose with the dialogue surrounding the Adamant Rail and the suggestion that humanity hadn't discovered guns yet, that can't be the case.

Actually, on the winter thing: I figured it was related to the seasons, but particularly the lore of the seasons as related to Hades and Persephone. ie; At one point it was eternal summer, but then when Persephone went to the Underworld and left her mother Demeter, the seasons worsened until winter was a thing, but then persephone was able to go back up and reunite with her mom, and thus spring and summer ad infinitum.

I actually like this version of Ares. Even when you anger him in the trial of the gods, he doesn't actually show anger. He's just like 'welp, you did that, guess I'm gonna show you how i inflict pain and suffering firsthand now'. From any other god, that would be a major threat. The only thing that is really worth in my opinion is the poison on the dash, when you can't take a stand that allows you to still do some damage, and if you met Hermes, and have the 3+ dash it can be very funny.

Dionysus is roughly tied with Zeus for best DPS in the game.
You really need Low Tolerance (Aphro/Dio duo, Weak enemies can get up to 8 poison stacks), but he shreds.

So, Privileged Status is very important because it boosts all damage that enemy takes.
You probably won't see big gains on your Attack or Special (unless you're running the Spear or Hestia), but everything else gets nutty.

For Hades, I think you want something to deflect those skulls he throws. Then just dash around a lot and you should be good

Eventually she'll open up to Zag again. She will ||appear in his room a 2nd time and talk to him about the fact her sisters are involved. Then the remaining hearts unlock and you can give her Ambrosia. After maxing out the 2nd tier of hearts she can be romanced||
It took me like 30 runs for her to open up though.

My speculation is that Persephone is with her mother, but she misses Zag very badly and that's making Demeter sad, thus winter. Zagreus will meet Persephone, spend some time with her, then realize he misses all his friends in the underworld including that bastard old man, and go back home. So every year the god of life and blood dies and goes back to the underworld to see his father, causing winter, and then fights his way back out to visit his mother six months later, bringing spring and life back to the mortal world.

Wait for his spear throw, retaliate, go back to waiting.
Otherwise, wait for his circular spear attack, run to his back since he holds still for a couple seconds, go back to waiting.
Theseus punishes greediness.
And that same hit and run mentality can help you enormously for the bossfight after him also.

@pulsar sphinx The trick to that fight is kill the mintor first, just ignore Theseus unless he has you targeted then get behind a pillar real quick. Kite the Minotaur around (you can dash through all of his attacks and hit him in the back super easy.) Once the Minotaur is gone just stay behind Theseus and keep hitting his back, or you can play safe and wait til he throws his spear then he walks away from you exposing his back.

When he runs at you dash through a pillar, he'll crash into it then you can beat up him and the pillar to get massive damage on him : D
