Dumb thought I had for patrolucus interaction: whden you tell him (assuming it's not happened) that ||Achillies gave his place in elysium to him|| Patrolocles gets enraged, calls achiles a damm idiot, then vows to fight his way DOWN to the house to demad that hades makes him a guard alongside achilies. We see him interact with the npcs and help us with bosses in reverse order once, maybe twice, before he breaks into the house and demands hades does this. Hades pretty much goes "You want to be a guard here? fine, fight me for it." the next run if you make to Hades he ain't there to fight and Thesus is there instead since Hades had to put a guard there very quickly. when that run is over you find patrolocles and achilies standing guard together, implying that he did indeed beat Hades and that is why he was busy in the fight

Also i meant that The final boss for the run where the patrolicus and hades fight happens would be a very confused theseis since Hades is spending a surprisingly long time fighting patroliclies
Like the fight lasts long enough that Hades can't make his usual priot engament with Zag so has to come up with a replacement on the fly for that run

I think it has to do with the pause, I used Poseidon's greater call just when I lost a DD charge, and instead of slowing down I got propelled to the other side of the room (I was fighting the final boss, I literally went from one wall to the other almost instantly)

To say nothing of Codex entries for each of the game's biomes plus Chaos (the realm, not the dude) and Erebus, or one with more in-depth lore about Pacts of Punishment and their role in Underworld bureaucracy.

One of the new Achilles dialogue events is specifically about Bloodstones, so it's pretty clear that he knows about them. Plus, hey: he trained Zagreus. It kind of stands to reason that he got to see them in action with his own ghostly eyes.
Besides, I'm not sure we should follow such strict logic when it comes to how Achilles obtains his information. It doesn't really make sense that he'd have such intimate knowledge of the enemy types in the Temple of Styx, for example. I think we can just assume that Zagreus is having some chats with him between escape attempts, telling him all about the hellish places he's been exploring and the terrifying foes he's encountering along the way.

I still think the early game could stand to be a little more coherent for new players. In my opinion, a new player shouldn't have to come here to find out why they're getting Titan Blood, what they should use it on, or what they need to do to get the main game rolling (which is to unlock all weapons & beat the last boss once).
That is to say, there should be something in the game to make it quite clear that your first priority should be getting keys and unlocking ALL of the Infernal Arms.
I also think Achilles should give you the Codex faster. As in right after that initial first run. You take your first jump out the window, die somewhere in route to the surface, and after you walk out of the blood pool, the game promts you to talk to Achilles (and won't let you do another run until you do) who then says he was waiting until you were ready to give you the codex and, now that your trying to fight your way to the surface, he's decided you are. And he gives you the Codex. Now new players will have a reference for a whole lot of things as they encounter them right from the get go.
Another nice addition would be a spot in your room (or the Codex?) where you can re-look at important story content, such as Persephone's letter.

They are hard yes, but they are indeed beatable.

this kind of reminds me of the issue dead cells has is by the time you reach a boss your health or resources are exhausted from making it to the boss
my hail mary normally gets used on the Hydra as its just alot of attacks in a tight space
the game is great so far but its kinda demorilizing to get to the third boss of a unknown amount
and have them just pound you into the pavement regardless of how much you have invested

There is 4 zones, and Heroic duo is balanced much better now. The only thing I can say that you should take things slower, fiddle with the builds a bit, make yourself look for the tells in boss fight. Because in case of Hydra we literally have 3 moves that all have clear tells. I know that hitting a wall is not a pleasant feeling, but that's the thing about roguelikes, practice. There is sadly no other way other than "get good", but you can turn on the "God mode" in options. It's made to soften the blow.

the hydra i can beat but generally i am on low health as that boss is not good for my playstyle
then the duo is basically anti my playstyle in most games like this ARPGS or rouge likes etc

the main gist of it is that it lets you summon your friends to help you in battle
skelly's super keepsake lets you summon him in battle so that he draws the aggro away from you
sisyphus' super keepsake makes him drop bouldy on top of your target for 1k damage, while also dropping a bunch of food/money
meg's super keepsake calls her to do her aoe attack thingy for 2k damage
than's super keepsake is basically his aoe cast for 3k damage

Hey guys, after I use 4 nectars (aka get to 4 hearts) I can't seem to be able to gift these chars anymore, instead the 5th heart appears with a clock inside it. Do I just have to wait and it will unlock eventually, or do I have to do something else? (right now I have 2 chars at 4 hearts, Cerberus and Artemis. And, the same thing with Hades at only one, tho)

You can tell if you've maxed it out by looking at the codex (I think it's 'C' by default? if not, I changed it to that). When you click on a character, if it has hearts all the way up until a timer symbol, that means you've gotta wait for updates. A lock symbol means you must do certain events to progress. Empty hearts mean you can still gift them. Different characters have different max hearts right now, so that's the easiest way to tell
