yeach but there is also 2 close range (sword, shield) , 2 range (rail, bow) and one middle range (spear) weapon too

I'm not so sure. The spear can be thrown. But so can the shield. I'd say the spear is ultimately designed to be far more melee then a strictly ranged weapon like the rail and bow.

A slingshot was mentioned. Interestingly, slings were actually a popular and very deadly weapon in antiquity warfare. Ancient slingers would even write messages on the usually lead rocks they flung.

Usually insults or invoking the gods or little drawings of a thunderbolt or animal.

Boiling Blood. You know how you can get up to 1.5x base damage against stuff when you stick it with a Bloodstone?

Those floating skull heads that Hades shoots at you do the same thing.

If one hits you, the screen gets that effect untill the head thing pops out of you again. And while it's in you, you take more damage.

When just 1 DD is no longer enuff, because Theseus' sparkles are far too distracting

Theseus maniacal laughter as he rides a chariot while dual-wielding machine guns is one of the best parts of the update.
Also on the note of Sisyphus, after a couple conversations with him, bouldy and Hades I've unlocked the option to purchase ||Sisyphus' document detailing his punishment and use it to set him free. But it costs 10 diamonds so not quite there yet. I assume that is how you get his legendary keepsake.||

Oh and Megaera. Talked to her as well to see if she'd continue punishing him.

Thanatos legendary keepsake is very similar ability he uses when fighting alongside him. A big purple circle is created and after a short while it deals 3k damage to everything inside.

I only used it once.

On the barge of death. Perfect spot for it. Except a second before it erupted the blue-stones gave everyone shields...

Sisyphus legendary keepsake is a similar AoE. Except in a smaller area and dealing only 1000 damage. But its almost instant and gives you about 90 gold and around 100 health and some darkness to all pick up.

I havent found out Megs. In fact, after having 1 new conversation with her I've only had generic responses every time I try talking to her in the lounge. Perhaps there is some other condition or pre-requisite.

Based off what I've seen. They are I think more just fun stuff after you have everything else rather then anything practical. They can only be used once per encounter though using them correctly should win you that encounter and 1/2/3 times per run depending on how much ambrosia you spend on each individual one. So while powerful they are too limited to be essential. It's just really cool to have the friends Zagreus has made directly help him out.

But still using Sisyphus saved me from spending a death defiance while fighting Theseus and Asterius.

Zag with horns? Nah. They messed up him/Dio with Pan again. Pan was Dio's predecessor, just like Helios/Apollo or Semele/Artemis.

Damn. Spin Attack of Varatha so unviable against some opponents like Hades or Minos. Good versus weak enemies / slow enemies, but those who is fast well... encounters ends not very well. l'm reinforced Spear's Spin Attack with both Hammer ups - probably l'm also needed Hermes attack boon. Played at easy difficulty just to check out, think Heat cap for Spin Attack is 10.

Eventually after dozens of generic responses from her she just showed up in Zagreus room for me. Her conversation there talked about how her sisters are involved now. So I assume all that it requires is having her sisters be boss-fights and then plenty of waiting.

I know Theseus reacts to it with a very surprised "Thanatos!" and when I used Sisyphus his reaction was just"what was that?"

How do I unlock aspects in hell mode? I just beat Hades after a white-knucle run 8 (Skelly's tooth carried the day, wow!) and expected the upgrade fun to start. But... it didn't. Also haven't unlocked the codex yet - think I got that on run 3 in my old save (which started just after the Big Bad update). Anyone knows what's up?
