How many boons does Hermes have? cuz so far I've seen extra dash, drift, recovery, special speed, and enemy slow

Are there as many as the other gods have? cuz then there should be like 5 more, and I saw someone mention a legendary but I have no idea how you'd get that yet

Considering there's no clear progression of boons it's all just random speed stuff

Does he have a wrath? he's a normal god so it would make sense if he did I'm just not sure what it would be, maybe going really fast while your enemies go really slow

His legendary is strange... You can get it seemingly without going through a tech tree, I got it and it was the second boon I got from him in the run.

I don't quite get how hermes works yet, all his stuff seems really powerful to me though tbh, slowing effects are huge and the dodge and attack speed buffs are just really solid in general. Speed is always a dangerous mechanic game balance wise though. Also he has a lot of good passives that don't explicitly take up an attack/cast/special/dash slot

Like once you get to the back end of Tartarus and into Asphodel I'm pretty sure it would be literally impossible

Pretty rough with the bow as well, shield is fine, sword should be okay, not sure about spear, but the rail I mean who can do that

That requires getting a hammer AND 1 upgrade from a large pool early in the game because it won't matter in Asphodel 30 second room clears are almost impossible even with good stuff in there

My suggestion in feedback was that time limits are per wave, not encounter, and you have to complete all waves in their time limits to get the boost from that encounter, and that wave time limits are determined by either/both biome and heat

And I'm saying this as a pretty competent shield one trick for the past 5 months, even with good boons clearing an Asphodel room in 30 seconds is a FeatTM, especially when the rooms are giant and the spawn times take forever

it's really not possible in asphodel, yeah. it's possible in elysium, sometimes, but it's way harder.

I had the easiest room ever in Elysium it was like 20 hot wheels and ignoring the fact Pulverizing Blow made almost all of them explode on me even though I 1hk all of them there were too many with too much spawning downtime to get 30 seconds it took like 45/50

And it literally does not get easier than 20 hot wheels

I want there to be a 1000-10k darkness upgrade where you can have 2 keepsakes because that would be so much fun: 2 gods? you're looking for a specific duo, 1 god 1 npc? perfect you have utility and damage, Thanatos AND Hermes? you really like a good challenge

Keepsakes are your only modifiable certainties and I think it would be p nifty if you could combine them because they're not so strong that it would be broken if you could, especially if it's a high darkness upgrade

You could only replace one per area, or maybe it prevents you from changing once you've equipped 2

i find it really interesting that thanatos and hermes, both kind of psychopomps, have similar trinkets that encourage completely opposite playstyles.

Ok I just finished Elysium for the first time with enough pact for the first reward, can anyone who's gone to hell and back tell me if the second reward isn't just another Skelly statue, 30-40 heat is just about the point that I can't enjoy the game and I can't beat Thesius, and I can't even begin to imagine 60 heat

So where is Persephone? In the latest patch there's a story event where Hades tells Zag that earth is barren wasteland. But in the myth of Persephone her leaving the underworld represented spring/ the return of crops to earth. So is Hades just lying or is Persephone not on the surface?

• seen hades's first conversation (the "how was your wanton ransacking of my domain" one)
• seen the flashback sequence learning persephone's identity
• seen the conversation with poseidon where he remarks that zag is within "striking distance" of the surface

that last one has a few requirements in and of itself so you may not see it for a few runs

Hades flings everything he has at you, but nothing works. Finally he throws Cerberus at you, who simply lets you pass (because he's a good boy). Zag can walk out, but he pauses, and just tells Hades off for a solid five minutes. Zag works through all his feeling right then and there, monologue style. You can finally pet the dog in this last goodbye, and as Zag walks off, he gets a terrible feeling.
He finds her, and she mentors him the best she can. It's her bluntness, and outside perspective, that finally makes Zag realize that perhaps the people helping raise and take care of him was... literally everyone else. Guilt ridden about leaving them all behind, Zag heads back home to try and give everyone the happy ending they deserve. You make deals against Hades, and unlock special challenge runs related to each of the characters you're trying to help. You go to pick your weapon, but skelly isn't there. It's Darren Korb, and he gives you a thumbs up and keeps speaking in that amazing voice.
