Okay so knocked it out of the park with the new area, looks amazing. New controls are nice too. Felt real fluent right from the start. I have to say though I dislike some of the new damage sources. The walls are stabbing me? Why are there balls exploding from behind me without an enemy there? Unsure about those. The new end boss is also quite overwhelming at first. They have absolutely absurd health pools to the point I feel like there was no lesson learned from magera's first health pool which had to be nerfed? Or maybe my setup was just real bad. Guess I'll have to see. Overall amazing update though, worth the wait.

Second time i went rail again, but this time got infinite ammo and the exploding bolts, as well as chain lightning m1 upgraded decently, but I didn't get him past 30% that time around

@lyric pine I just beat him this last run. I used the shield (with the fast bull rush Daedalus upgrade) and switched between that and the Ares Blade Dash. That way you're not really taking damage, but still get in at least one or two hits with the Blade Rush

If your build doesn't allow for openings, take advantage of those two moments of weakness and chip him down
