is it just me or is artemis suuuuuper OP after this patch? her dash boon now affects all dmg and it stacks with her other boon Pressure Point.... i just did a stygian blade + athena special run, and well, that combo is pretty invincible, but after getting artemis boons i was blinking around dealing 500 dmg with my special really early on.... it also works really well with point-blank bow special :\

Okay so, speaking into the void here, and I doubt I'm the first one to think/say this, but I think Hades is really on Zagreus's side this whole time because: 1, Skelly talks about his mystery employer, who can't be named. 2, Hades tried to escape the Underworld at least once, he's not happy there either, so he should be empathizing with Zag. 3, he mentioned to Megaera that everyone (including wretches) are "underperforming" lately, which seems awfully convenient, because how does the Lord of the Underworld lose control at all? 4, could've smashed Zagreus's extremely handy Darkness mirror, but ya didn't, Hades...
I know this is probably reaching, and Hades is a bad parent overall, but maybe he's secretly hoping Zagreus succeeds to Olympus like he couldn't do before?

Since this is a rogue-like... unless they do something super genre-defying, 'beating the game' will still have you end up right back where you started. It's probably the thing I'm excited to see most, out of SGG and Hades.
Is it a 'fade to black, would you like to keep playing'? Does the hub change locations completely (too much work, gosh). Do characters acknowledge this plot advancement in game (Achilles congratulating me ; . ; )? Does 'end game' have some tonally different, more defined antagonist? How do the god's perspectives on you change when they realize that you're after reuniting with your mother? So many variables still up in the air. There's a lot to speculate on

Thing I've been speculating, is that the ending is sad (no duh). Your mother is chained, frozen, or in a state of 'well. Congrats, I guess'. You learn that the only way to free her is some complicated excuse to make Prince Z sacrifice himself before her, resetting him back down at the bottom, only to repeat the process another one-gazillion more times. Now, whenever you defeat runs, you get a nice little "...I'm back, mother."
Could even have that amount be like... twenty or so runs. Or a set value of parameters before you unlock true ending. Maybe the god whose boon you have the most of says something nice/rare as well, each time you finish.
Or the endings just a 'one and done, roll credits' kind of thing! Who knows! But it's fun to imagine.
