And similarly, now that there are seeds introduced

there are two categories for Seeded

and non-seeded

I know there is at least one person using a method, which I am sure many others do, in which he checks multiple seeds for certain parameters. For a high score run he checked over 4 billion seeds to find the one with the most elites

So until such sweeping changes happen like that to this game, probably wont worry too much about it. If I end up finding glitches, maybe there will be a "glitchless" and "glitched" category

Fun fact- From the script it almost looks like the game was originally planned to take place in the Labyrinth of Crete

Which would of course make sense. An ever changing dungeon? Sounds like a roguelite to me

I think there's something that the game really doesn't like about being paused in the background for extended periods, might even be a memory leak

Oh for sure, but it become a hassle you use up all your death defiance beating her only to die from the next room and go all the way back to the house

Me too. The drawback on the other weapons are just too great. The spear makes you stand still for 1 second. Might as well give up then XD

I mean the spear IS good for stunlocking, but once shielded enemies or meg become a thing then that's p much it.

My build felt broken. Using shield with Artemis' dash for guaranteed crit, Athena's attack for deflection and increased damage and quick charge on bull rush. Dash. Charge deal huge amounts of crit damage to everyone. Repeat.

finally made it thru asphodel and met the hydra for the first time
got it down to 25% and then managed to
dash into every single arrow it shot and burned through all three of my death defiances and died 😢

all the other supergiant games felt like sidegrades, if that makes sense. like, they're all amazing, but none felt like it improved on the other in any way
so far, hades has been my favorite by far.

hades just has everything that the other games had
bastion's punchy combat, weapons and upgrades with almost a transitor feel, mixed with pyre's high-quality characters and writing.

its just lacking in the story, which is kind of to be expected for early access
