It's got "graze" damage, which is like 25% less or something than the actual spear throw
Which is what the fireworks are for
I wish we could know everything about aspects like Guan Yu and Arthur rather than just observing what the heck is happening.
Especially since they have such drastic changes in how they work and attack compared to other aspects.

This mirror upgrade is probably intended to be a good tool for new players who may lose their death defiances on standard rooms where experienced players wouldn’t. My problem is that it feels more like a bad crutch than training wheels. It’s awkward to use too, because sometimes you have to kill your self intentionally just to restore health. My suggestion is to have it get stronger the more rooms you go without losing it. It could he more health recovery or something else. That way it motivates new players to not play reckless in rooms just because they’ll get another death defiance after, which is a bad habit. In addition, it’s pretty underpowered in general```
While I agree, I think I find myself using Stubborn Defiance over normal Defiance as if I can stack the health amount higher, I can still run the Skelly Tooth for a backup defiance in the Hades fight, and means that I don't have to worry near as much about other bosses/paying to restore Defiances.Do chaos boons that increase attack% also increase dash-attack%?

but uh Zeus and Ares starting gods, and of the two, there was only Zeus offering a special, nothing for attack
So yeah, figured I'd get the Zeus cast and work around that
Managed to snag Aphrodite for attack, so that was nice, and Demeter special was a late pick for the potential duo that eventually showed up
For rooms, unless there was a combination that was basically a lava pit, I'd try to single them out. Otherwise, cast spam time

A lot tbh. Ares, go for Hunting Blades with Artemis. Dio, go for a few different duos for his cast. Full Artemis is ok if you can get the boons. Even "weaker" casts like Posi, Zues, Athena, can be done with levels and combos.
I think the only cast that is outright bad for Hera is Demeter and I'm sure someone here will tell you an alright way to run it still.
Maybe Aphro cast too. No one seems fond of it.

Yeah it can be hard to decide on what to unlock first when you're trying to get that first win. Access to titan blood is somewhat limited in the beginning.
It'll get easier after that once you unlock ||Pact of Punishment||, so even if you waste the blood on something you don't like, it doesn't matter much in the end

You could use keys to unlock dream sequences where you see and test the aspect but that would be too much of a drain on keys in the early game and not useful enough later on.

I honestly forgot that special is bound to q by default, it got rebound to right click and cast went to the q key like instantly.
Is that many dashes really useful in and of itself? Like I never find myself using more than 3-4 at most because I usually don’t want to be across the map from the enemy I just dodged. Prob does speed up a run substantially though.
