Who has tried an Artemis build with Chiron and the new Charged Special Hammer? I'm loving it. You aren't as mobile, but I've gotten 700 damage crits...per arrow. Theoretically, that's 4900 potential damage.

The new Charged Shot is the most disgusting thing I've ever used in a video game and I'm buying every SGG employee responsible for it a pizza.
Man I wanna put this in suggestions but I don't have privilege to do that so here is my suggestion: The main character and some of the written dialogue is a little over used and sorta hand holding the player on what is occurring. It's not truly critical but for me it kinda breaking the immersion along with adding unnecessary dialogue that doesn't add to the lore. I think it would benefit to describe things that aren't reiterating to the player that hey this is a never ending dungeon to stop you from escaping and then the character uses a "edgy response" to such lore. (kinda makes me feel not able to grasp what's occurring when I clearly do) I think it would be awesome to have a dialogue limiter; or at least for when non-critical interactions? (main character just talks alot and it feels like it cheapens his aura of being the son of Hades ya know) Anyway gameplay is solid and I like the mechanics presented by the rogue-like ness. I think voice acting is good, but there seems to be too much emphasis on it. There are some unique characters art wise, but the 3D model lacks that representation and it'd be a nice touch. In the codex I think bringing the full still art out of the box as a main visual, perhaps tied to books look would be ascetically pleasing. Adding animations to your stills during conversations would also be a nice touch. Maybe more destructibles ? But bastion insane amount for good reason. Keep up the good work

If you about the "dash after charging the attack" part... then using GU spear it can be a bit delayed. Works wonders on a regular spin tho

you have to stagger your casts, not load all of em in a single arrow
that's only good once the shields are gone
and even then, depending on the damage, you might wanna load 1 by 1 to ensure better armor breach

You lose boons, coins, hearts, poms and hammers. You keep darkness, gems, nectar, keys and bounties (blood, diamond, ambrosia).

I have noticed that if you are doing a "Trail of the Gods" and your Call is for a God that you just spurned, they'll ignore you during the Trail and you'll get dialogue from Zag for it. it's pretty funny.

So its a build focused on damage mitigation, deflecting back attacks with revenge boons and because you also take a lot of damage compared to a normal run your god gauge charges way faster, and the way to survive this is to have the Sword upgrade Cursed Blade (Heals on attack) and Athene Call, you activate the call and are free to auto attack and heal back up the damage they did , all while deflecting their attacks in the meanwhile
So when your main slots are filled (Attack/Special/Dash/Call etc.) or most of them filled you can go for Boons from gods that have Revenge attacks like
Aphrodite - Wave of Despair - After you take damage, damage nearby foes and inflict Weak.
Ares - Curse of Vengeance - After you take damage, inflict Doom on surrounding foes. (Prob most important one)
Zeus - After you take damage, your foe is struck by lightning.
and you're already taking Athene boons so these ones are good for the combo
Brilliant Riposte - When you Deflect attacks, they deal more damage.
Holy Shield - After you take damage, damage nearby foes and briefly Deflect.
And take a Ares doom on the attack or special is good because
Merciful End - Your attacks that can Deflect immediately activate Doom effects.
And take the damage mitigation boons

@versed ibex i did a similar run like this before this one, and i could just kill hades without attacking , and when i was done i was like lol, i should have recorded this, so i started a new run and used a mod to get the boons i had in that run, but it also gave a lot of boons that i didnt want/need but u cant turn them down, so then i just took the least impactful thing lol, still i waas stronger this run than the previous one but the idea is the same
