@proud orbit My idea to fix Flamewheels is to make them have an active phase like Nemean Chariots. They'll turn red after meowing, signaling they'll blow on contact or upon death. Kill them otherwise, they freeze in place and explode after a few seconds.
Right now their ability to explode harmfully (but not against enemies!) instantly upon death or contact is their biggest issue.
Also: Make it so they inflict friendly damage during one of either phase.

It would be better if they didn't massively increase the time that certain weapon/aspects could complete the room. They often don't follow the rules of limited discrete waves, and instead a "wave" of them will take much much longer than a wave of pretty much everything else
It doesn't matter that they are low HP. Just the time is takes for them to actually all spawn makes the room take way longer than normal, and makes deadlines more RNG based

The other main issue for the 3rd biome is that although no-choice might sound like it's "just a difficulty slider," if it causes your build to have low damage, it could make the 3rd biome painfully slow to clear. Like, the difference between good damage and bad damage is way too much
The last no-choice run I tried, it was taking like 2 minutes to clear some of the rooms, because my damage output was so bad

I'd be perfectly fine of no choice gave me a build I didn't prefer, as long as the build is still viable. Due to the wonky high damage percentage modifiers, and the bloated percentage of utility boons, no choice can very easily give a build that's not viable at all, even if there isn't a deadline

Casts aren't OP is the long and short of it.
You have very strong Cast builds, including the strongest build in the entire game, but other builds are nearly as strong or stronger than not-Hunting Blades.
Lightning, Doom, and Hangover also work on the same principle: Poms and rarity upgrades increase the base damage, so they actually scale when you apply bonuses like Eris or Achilles.

In exchange, Cast builds are generally harder to use than Attack or Special builds, mostly from limited ammo.

This is not my impression at all. the current speedrun meta is casts, too, for example, so the speedruns agree that artemis cast is the strongest build right now. The three status effects you mention have a mostly pretty low cap, you won't ever get a doom build melting the final bosses.

@low hawk I understood your feedback. However, I think you missed the biggest weakness to Casts, seeing as it's not mentioned at all in your post. My feedback summarizes it, but in essence... I can Attack and Special.... FOREVER. I can Cast.... Three times. Now I can get more Stones, if I invest into Artemis specifically enough to get her Legendary, and get lucky enough TO get it. I can get more Stones from Chaos, one at a time, for a very clear price.... OR, I could NOT do that, and just Attack/Special everything to death.
If it takes me FOUR Casts to kill something, and I only have three... I have a problem. If it takes me four attacks to kill something.... I don't care.

Theseus is going to give you very little time to heal, if you can line up Minotaur to a pattern where you know where he'll be, you might be able to steal some HP from him, but mostly just be really safe, that fight'll eat all your life really quick if you get careless for more than a second or two
