My comment about morals/emotions etc. was mostly about the contrast between how much people sometimes care about that (especially if it's them) and how much the world (... nature, universe) around us does not care.

the interview does not have to be "can this one make me money" but also "will this person disrupt my company's ecosystem and how"

Of course there is something about established teams and all that... so it's probably a good thing to hire people who have worked together already

I'm pretty sure there is a term for the type of business who only thinks of squeezing out as much money for himself as possible

and usually the fastest way to do that is to not run a long term business

it's to get a lot of investors, declare a tons of spendings, then declare bankruptcy

and this way cashing out tons of money

that is the equivalent of fattening a porker for a feast

it nets tons of money for the person who spearheaded it, but misses the point in at least two ways

a business should be created for 1) combing a deficiency in the market, 2) generate a profit to sustain its long-term stable operations

if I don't fire an employee who is just stable, isn't generating profit but isn't sabotaging me either, it's still stable, so it does not defy point 2

as long as there are enough other employees who do

so the only ones I need to fire are the ones who are sabotaging the survival of the business

by generating negative profit

again, this is all subjective, ask any other person they'll answer differently, this is just my opinion

cuttlefish tbh I thought was squid initially but realized much later that it was probably cuttlefish that one time in a Korean restaurant, and sparrows used to be a popular Asian snack, it was very crunchy and juicy

It is now illegal to kill sparrows in China now though, technically

It's a very specific genre! I think Borderlands 2 story+characters are the strongest of the series, which is probably why it's my favorite? I have a hard time with looter shooters too, if I'm not drawn in by narrative/world aspects as well.

Dunno, the writing didn't felt much up to Obsidian's standards in my opinion and gameplay was sort of safe? It didn't felt much after some time in the game passed, then it kind of flopped with the leveling system since it felt much interesting to keep off from refraining using the points only to make somewhat flawed character otherwise it felt too much of power fantasy to me. Story though, the concept wasn't all too well executed I feel and the details from the ending kind of put the whole quest to question.

Overall the game felt lacking to me in proper balance, writing and level of challenge, after doing everything in the game and watching two additional playthroughs I genuinely can't find any moment that was a highlight. Except the Dumb Ending. Guess that was nice.

to me the ideal length is being able to run through the game once in one day

it's impossible with most games, especially not Nier games or Fire Emblem
