once my dad and I bought a real jasmine of the same species as the ones used for those tea
the whole sapling, with some flower buds already
but we didn't know how to care for it, so when an insect infestation happened we didn't know what to do and it ended up dying
but before it died, I got the chance to harvest some fresh jasmine flowers, and let me tell you, it was probably what nectar was made of
so very fragrant, the dried version can't compare
can't put in hot water though because the petals would be burnt, so I think I ended up just eating part of them, and the rest I put in cooled tea
when it goes on sale again I'll attempt jasmine planting again, and I'll keep it indoor so the same mistake won't be repeated
