The way its handled is that with the confrontation with the shadow, who suggests that she might want to be a boy, she comes to realize that what she actually wants is to be treated seriously and with respect, and that just changing their gender isnt the right way to go about it||

||It doesnt actually treat the potential gender change as something negative, nor does it treat her questioning it as negative, and it does give us a believable explanation that tells us why she went on that path||

What a ride

Gotta say though, the final big bad was kind of ... meh?

They suffered from being far too obvious far too quickly, and not having a particularly compelling motive or course of action

#

Which hurt the final case a fair bit, since the last stretch was focused on them, and as a result was rather weak

#

But their breakdown was the best in the series

my average run is about 40 minutes and ive done 111 of them dfjhsdjkf but they used to be shorter bc i used to die a lot more and there was less to play. so idk
