causing memory leaks or buffer overflows in programs written in low level languages
or using manual memory management
although most modern operating systems do a reasonable job of mitigating buffer overflows these days

Halos 1-3 are excellent games

I think my only issue with the game is how late all the interesting progression options come in. I only got a melee special attack near the end of Blood and wine and a lot of the interesting skills don’t come in until way late on

I also think the mobile game stigma is pretty unfounded. With a game made by Blizzard there is a certain level of quality you come to expect and really that's why people support them, I think. I don't think Diablo Immortal will be handled any different than Hearthstone, which is still successful.
It's only so huge because someone got boo'd on stage and Blizzard admittedly handled it terribly. I don't think the outrage is going to change anything and it's all going to blow over.

@solemn sierra I was talking to Darren about how to best record my keyboard the other day, and his recommendation was to get a simple USB Audio Interface. For me, MIDI is probably overkill, but I realized you're talking about doing full composition, so it's probably the way to go. Although you could probably get away with recording tracks with an interface sans MIDI and importing them to Logic or Garage Band or whatever is being used for composition!

most hdmi switches just work off the hdmi power, very few of them need or even have the ability to have a ac adapter plugged into them
most 1080p sources you can pretty much use any switch, even janky ones will be fine, 4k is a bit different tho, if youre trying to get like 4k60hz or like certain chroma samples you need to be careful, but thats all pretty technical and only really neccessary if youre really particular
theyll probably have some pretty fun deals on switches if youre willing to wait for black friday too, although im sure the cheaps ones wont really drop in price

My aim is pretty... solid. So if I play the damage characters I usually win. But I'm lost on everything else.

The way I learned was just messing around in the practice range and testing what they do

I like Lucio. It feels like I'm buffing all my teammates. But people are always upset at me for not keeping there health up.
I'm like, "It's a slow trickle! You have to give me time to trickle you!"

Healing's a thankless task in OW, you're better off going into the team channel and muting all because very few people will have anything constructive to say

i feel like tanks have a harder time then healers lol no one knows how to group up and engage
at least in my experience playing both

It hasn't been bad so far. Everyone I play is... not great though? They stand still a lot. Or walk in a straight line. Or strafe too fast. So it's easy to shoot them.
So I have that down. I just don't know who to play. Or what to do as a Tank. As a Healer, I just try not to die tbh.

I learned the fastest by grouping up with an experienced friend who took me through QP, was personally the best way I learned about positioning and ult usage, etc

tanks make space either by displacing the other team or shielding to create angles for yours to attack from
