In my experience transistor gets easier as you play

the difficulty keeps ramping but the more you know what you're doing and the more powers you have to interact with it gets better

Basic strat in transistor is usually to use turn to do a bunch of awesome stuff and then either have the one that jumps you or the one that makes you invis to avoid until you get turn again
