Just got to the Liberation Rite for the first time - I am awestruck on this game...The narrative, the game design, the art, the sound - everything. As a Narrative Game Designer, and someone from the industry - I'm just floored how perfect this game is.

Looking back now; I have two questions.
1 - Upon meeting Sandalwood, he speaks a single line to you in English through your mental connection to assert he also can read. If it was just Sandalwood's internal voice we'd hear it in his prayers to the Scribes and other mental conversations. There are only three other characters that use spoken English; the Voice, Tariq, and Celeste. I assume from context that this is a demonstration of the ability to Read? Should I take away from this that Celeste and Tariq are Readers?
2 - If you lose enough liberation rites and the ones you free aren't those that would contribute to The Plan (Sir Deluge and Lendel come to mind) can the Plan actually fail?

That's fair. I was happy with my ending overall. My only regret is making Hedwyn sad that I didn't come back with him/Jodarial/Rokey. In retrospect, I'd swap Gilman for myself.

So, if you want a bit of spoilers, the revolution ||always happens no matter how many of the Nightwings make it home. It's just that the more of them there are, the more like a peaceful protest it is, versus a more violent and bloody revolution if too few make it back||

Hades can be a bit of a time sink, I find, where pyre is very easy to put down and pick up again

In a sense, yes.
Due to having multiple characters, and all having their own plots 'n' stories.
And you can't interact with everyone at the same time, and sometimes- you can't interact with some folk at all due to them doing their own thing.

Pyre's a bit like NieR, Journey or Undertale in that it has an unexpectedly good story, killer soundtrack and a completely unnecessary amount of narrative depth that is best explored blind.
Which is the only reason I don't mock people i this channel for using spoiler tags on a game 2 years old :V

@young ledge one language I have always wanted to learn is latin. But I always feel like there are other ones to learn thast are better, since in the U.S. spanish is more valuable than latin despite the fact that most if not all words in the english language have several latin roots.

I made a partial Sahrian dictionary some time ago, with stuff confirmed by word of god and stuff that could be figured out from context, but it is...very partial.
Most of the Sahrian we hear in game is partial anyways, so it's impossible to reconstruct a full dictionary or grammar, and afaik it's not really developed as a conlang beyond what was necessary anyways
However, one of the users here, almightyjanitor, has spent a good bit of time building a grammar from scratch for it based on what we have, I can't remember if they've shared it here before or not though
