@iron heart Since Sahrian is a conlang, it's up to Greg to decide what characters sound like, and it also means that the English we see onscreen is a perfect representation of the Sahrian. So Gilman's "accent" is exactly as it appears in English! Like how he calls us the Master Reader? That's an equivalent of his pet name for the Reader, magaratus, which appears to be a portmanteau of ligaratus (reader) and an unknown word (probably related to "magna/magnus") that means "grand".

To me, best run is happy Sandra, Volfred, Ti'zo and Oralech happy in the downside as old pals, Jodi, Hedwyn, Rukey and me free (to fulfill Hedwyn's promise), Fae free too because can't separate her from Jodi, Almer free so he can be with Fae. There is still one more spot, and I'd probably go for Pam, so she can be away from her sister, and because Bertrude is fine as long as she's with Volfred and Gilman is usually fine in the Downside too.
I still need to do that one, too. Last run I did was a ultra-hardcore run in True Nightwing with all stars active. To make it more awful, I went full evil reader, shaving Rukey's moustache, lost every Liberation Rite on purpose (well, those that I would have won, at least... couldn't have won against Udmildhe no matter what, same with Lendel), and when I lost the last Lib Rite on purpose, I forced Oralech to let me go in his place, making me the only Nightwing to go free. It was an emotionally painful playthrough, but really fulfilling gameplay-wise.

I like keeping the main gang up top with Mae and Almer. The "true nightwings" staying down with Bertrude and Gilman is also best, it also fits with the new replacing the old and stuff. Pam I actually would keep down cause if I remember correctly she has nice interactions with Bertrude in the downside. Plus despite the fight pam and tam do get back on speaking terms when they stay together. The last spot? I personally would give to Ignarius for the sweet relationship bonus. After that the only big thing your missing is Mae and Ti'zo and Pam and Rukey.
Thats just my opinion though lol like you said there are many perfect endings

There are three priorities for me for a perfect run:
- original Nightwings together
- original new nightwings together up top
- fae with Jodi
Since that's 4 people liberated already, original Nightwings have to stay down. Bertrude doesn't mind staying down, especially if Volfred is there too. It's nice having Almer with Fae too. So we seem to agree on that.
Although, liberating Ti'zo so he can bang Lendel's mom would be fun

That upgrade gets applied upon the Sap casting his Sapling. Since it's an ADD, it's cumulative over multiple casts. The normal radius is 525, so if we change that to this:

the gameplay may not be for everyone , it certainly wasn t for me when i started out but i really started to enjoy it after getting used to it and it blends really well with the story

I know I was able to conquer all of FTL and Into the Breach's achievements all on Hard difficulty. But I think it'll require a lot of practice to become godlike in this game.
I guess doing a single perfect hardest difficulty run is something to aim for.

Liberating the people you want on True Nightwing is pretty easy if you're good. Ended up with more health than what I started with on the first Liberation Rite. Doing it on True Nightwing with 12 stars on, that's beyond my capabilities. Once I get my Gilman perked up and geared up, I can win nearly all Rites even with 12 stars on. Keyword being "nearly". Lendel and his demon pals, Udmildhe, freaking Tamitha, they're insane.
Also, if someone does a perfect hardest difficulty run (which means without any loss), please make it a video series. Would really want to see how you handle the first cycle, as it's really hard winning without any perks when facing enemies with incredible buffs. Barker with +8 Presence and +8 Quickness is insane. Add to that the fact that everybody comes back instantly if you banish everybody, that they don't take much time to come back even if you don't because of their high Hope, that they can plunge without losing a person, that they deal more damage to a Pyre that's already not that healthy to begin with and that they heal when they douse your Pyre? Hell, simply someone winning the first Dissidents Rite on True Nightwing with all Stars on I'd love to see.
The first Essence rite, too, is insane. No Jodariel, which means you lose your best defence, no Gilman, you lose your best attack. Obligatory Pamitha, with no perks at all, making her vastly inferior in stats to any of her opponents, with no tricks to succeed.

If I'm going to make a perfect hardest difficulty run, I might do it in regards to the perfect storyline/ending rather than no-losses.
But if I do become really engrossed with the core gameplay enough, I might go for such a thing.

So, I beat the Chastity on TN with all stars, and even managed to earn 45 sols by dousing the pyre within 5 seconds of saluting.
I'm now done with the second Liberation Rite. Liberated Rukey during the first one (used only 3 Stars, I'm not that crazy) and liberated Almer during the second one (used all stars since I intended to lose anyway, only managed to get them down to 50 HP)
