Few games have impacted me the way Pyre did in my life. I'm very grateful to it for making me go back to my creative/art side which I had mostly forgotten.

Pyre is my favorite of all time, simply because it made me feel the most pure emotion I had felt in my heart. For me, first and foremost, games are art, and the point of art is to elicit an emotional response. Pyre, was the best at that out of everything I’ve played. It was a journey for me, reminding me a lot of adventures that I’d go out with my friends. How going hard, long distances, can bring people together. It just really hit close to home, and that’s why I will never forget my journey, and intend to make it again sometime.

It reminds me, that there’s still people out there, who still regard games as art forms.

Essence, Dissidents (White Lute Version > Original), and Pyrehearts. While I love all of the themes, I feel like these are the best examples of the themes giving the characters, and their Triumvirates personality, and strong vigor on the field. It gives you a sense of their culture and style. The Essence has a tribal, sort of middle eastern-style song, which makes the Harps feel exotic, yet deadly. The Dissidents has a frickin sick thrash metal theme, that just goes perfectly. It’s so unfitting, that it swings around, and works absolutely perfectly with the crazy group of misfits. The White Lute version is also sick as heck. I love the Pyreheart’s swashbuckler-style theme. It just gives them so much personality, as honorable, charging knights, or what they believe themselves to be.
How, subtly, even the instrumental songs in Pyre build its world as much as the lyrical ones.

honestly, the archetype of hate to love ships drive me up a wall on 5th gear, but hey. Good on Supergiant’s part to let us fill in the blanks of what their relationship/preference is. Making him overtly say “I like men” to Bertrude or be “I loved you, Oralech.” woulda been forced anyways. So it’s subtle, and ambiguous. Really, the only relationships that can be taken to an intimate level is Heddy boy and Fikani, and Reader and Sandra. But they could have also just been joking too, at that little ending dialogue.
I could go on for hours about how this game has such good writing okay.

That moment tho when you get the chance to tell Jodi that you like her. And get friendzoned. I jokingly drank repeatedly from Pamitha’s bottle, and that’s how I stumbled upon that dialogue with her. He felt better knowing that he wasn’t getting drunk at someone’s expense.

Honestly, if you could make an entire new storyline via modding, I’m gonna for sure, try to make a fan-made expansion, or whole new story in the Downside. Maybe a prequel during a past, forgotten cycle of Rites, or an alternate scenario, where instead of the original three picking you up, and enlisting your help, instead, Oralech finds you first, and it plays on a separate storyline, actively opposing The Nightwings, as you make new friends, but in turn, find your old friends to have contempt for you and your Triumvirate. Maybe a fan sequel, where a New Rite is started by the reincarnations of the Titans.
Or like, I also thought of one thing

A storyline expansion, which changes the game’s general linearity, with a more open and dynamic story. Larger ripples are created by your choices actively in the story. As a leader, you could choose who gets to come along and not, as a way of deciding who gets to go up. Recruit leaders of other Triumvirates, and have them share ideas of what they want in The Commonwealth. Like, having more ability as The Reader to choose and risk. Maybe something you said angered a member, or you did nothing to help solve some drama between members. They leave, and you soon find them in the raiments of an opposing Triumvirate. Like, say, with Jodi and Pam. There’s a new path that can open, where without the insight of the Reader, don’t move past their differences. Maybe some things you said before, or picking Jodi more causes Pamitha to feel unwanted, and in rage, quits The Nightwings, where you soon find her right next to Oralech, letting anger and spite control her mind, finding no point in trying to reason with everyone anymore. It’s a lot, yeah, but with the framework of the game, story, and existing characters, perhaps it could be done.
There’s a ton the game does amazingly, but I feel there’s untapped potential of more choices and paths being revealed by your actions as The Reader.

I actually looked thru some of the Pyre scripts recently, and I think online multiplayer was planned, but cut. There are references to servers, a little function that determines which side of the screen is the local player, and a few other things I don't remember off the top of me head

You know, it's occurred to me: In the opening scene where you get to select the Reader's pronoun, the description of the options are "They assume you are X". At no point in the game does it ever imply that they were right. I can just imagine that Hedwyns first assumes the reader is female and all the Nightwings follow suit, until one day the Reader's just like "You know I'm actually a guy, right? I'm just kinda effeminate." And all the Nightwings just stare at him for a moment and he's just like "I really don't care, though. Call me whatever you want, just don't call me late for dinner" and they all just keep using female pronouns out of sheer habit.
