come to think of it, you can grow downside berries and some variety of mushroom in the blackwagon, so it's somewhat possible at least on a small scale and indoors

Well the moment that got me the most in Pyre was the last choice in the game. Jodariel is my favourite character and I'd decided to keep her until the last rite because I wanted to see her story. That last damn decision between liberating Jodariel, me or Oralech was heartbreaking to me. I literally sat in silence for like 20 minutes to decide what to do

I've seen several people who have rolled with "the reader can't participate in the rites for some reason" and have given their reader leg braces, for example
several people have imagined their reader as a cur or a harp even, even though the "canon" depiction doesn't support that
kasavin had said at some point shortly after the game came out that the point of the reader was to let the player feel wholeheartedly accepted by the Nightwings
despite that they can't participate in the rites, and despite whatever "crimes", "history" or other "negative" (or more accurately, socially unacceptable) traits they might have
