Red is the exact opposite, full of love and creativity, which is why we see her in the beautiful coutryside w/ her partner at the end
their connection was so strong that her partner was able to 'breach' the boundaries of the Transistor, he could see the real world when looking into the sky
Royce will never have any of that, to him the Transistor is just an empty prison
