So for my Vanguard I have Zara in position one, Sirius in position two, and Dido in position three. I still don't really know if these are the best ships I should be using for my fleet, so I'll just say which SR ships I have: Takao, Pola, Sirius, Atago, Dido, Kazagumo, Prinz Eugen, and Zara

Pola/Zara are good for pos 1 for what you have. Sirius/Dido either would be fine for pos 3/off tank, Kazagumo is usually pos 2/middle due to her buff. The other's are ok pos 1s but aren't worth the long term investment (unless waifu)

I have Takao oathed and above lvl 100, and my Kazagumo is still lvl 1, so I think I'll have her instead of Kazagumo. You mind helping with Main as well?

Sure, go ahead and post. Also yea it's fine to use if you've already invested, just your fleet might be slow if you have 2 CAs.

I have Alabama as my flag, and I'm not sure if the other two positions are very different from each other so I'll just say I have Formidable and Enterprise there. For who I have in total, it's Formidable, Akagi, Hood, Alabama, Enterprise, Illustrious, Kaga, Kaga (BB), and Volga

Alabama as flag is good since her barrage needs it. Formidable & Enterprise are good choices too. As for the rest, I would raise Volga, Illustrious and Hood (flag).

With Volga and Illustrious in the same fleet it will have plenty of defensive options - maybe swapping out Alabama with Hood would be the play for mobbing.
