I don't really see the point in Yukikaze there. All she does is act as a tank; you likely have better ship options, even if they're purple. Post your dock and we may be able to make better suggestions.

If you want to keep either Marie or Yukikaze for waifu purposes that's fine, but you probably have better ships.

I don't want to see just the SRs, I want to see everything you have. There are plenty of lower-rarity ships that are good.

im a noob and pretty casual, i just leveled up whatever, but im willing to put in the work now to get a good team to max level

Z23 would be much better than Marie once her retro is finished, AFAIK.

You could use Chikuma, Z23, and Takao/Atago if you wanted to fully buff Shinano, or you could change Monarch to Nagato. Personally I'm not a fan of Monarch in a mob fleet due to the way her barrage works, but she's totally fine if you want to keep her.

thats fine, i was leaning towards nagato anyways, i just had a weird thought that a PR ship was stronger

In a boss fight she is, but Nagato's role is to buff the ships around her. You COULD run Nagato/Ryuuhou/Shinano, but Percy is so much better in a mob fleet that I don't think it's worth it.

Monarch's a far better damage dealer than Nagato though.

Honestly I'd drop Neptune for now, and put her back in once she's dev 30. You can likely move Yukikaze to tank and run another off-tank/ DPS instead, like Atago/Takao, or Kawakaze or Avrora

Actually, in a mob fleet with Percy Takao could probably tank, and you could then run Takao/Z23/Avrora for a high-damage vanguard

and sorry for being a noob, a lot of my first impressions are based on the tier lists, which i know arent perfect. just trying to get the most optimal vanguard. looks like the choices are yuki, kawakaze, avror, z23, atago, takao, and one will be replaced when my neptune is fully developed

Sure, Yukikaze/Z23/Avrora would work pretty well.

Yuki as tank, Avrora should be able to off-tank, but if Z23 is a higher level I don't think it's going to matter who the off-tank is
