While an interesting idea, it's not really viable in our case unfortunately for several reasons. (Mostly technical but also we can't really just auto-ban people that can't read)

can't you do something like auto muting the person who can't read
don't muted people still have a channel to communicate with staff in so you can use that to unmute them

that defeats the whole point of a channel like that then
that'll just be even more annoying than banning bots manually
the entirety of my message still stands regardless - it's still not something viable for our case
we have made some adjustments to how we handle bot issue that hopefully should make things more smooth without extra complications

Just a example from the FGO sever that has a channel like that. Its hidden all the way at the bottom where its blatant obvious.
