I understand people are entitled to thier reactions/opinions to the news posted in game news, but I think the trash emote has a bad connotation and is just not supportive of the game. Is it possible to have this emote removed from the game news channel?

As you said, people are entitled to what opinions they want to have about a post in #game-news
I understand how you may not like it if the 🚮 is on a ship you like
But then, removing them would not be fair to other people who may not like the ship
If we were to remove anything that "isnt supportive of the game", a notable portion of the #game-feedback we see would also need to be removed

And even more important point - it's just physically not possible. We can clear away the existing reacts, but it would in no way prevent people from just... reacting again. And to every new post.
The only way would be to remove permissions to add new reacts at all and have a bot put "pre-approved" reacts to every post. Which is lame as fuck.
