So to unlock shimanto for example where I need 2 mil exp. Do I just farm with Sakura fleet on maps like 12-4?

since u are already done with many shipyard ships these noob type questions shouldn't be asked
the main issue for simanto is what will u use for her since all of ur ships are already past 120
and i m sure the purple and blue ijn ships have mediocre tech

when u farm for the exp missions u always want non maxed ships with good tech
if u don't have ships that meet these 2 conditions together than prioritize any tech over maxed ships
even if it isn't a good tech
somehow the sakura vanguards have the worst tech in the game
this also is a good tech
although CA and CB don't get more than +4 from tech it is still good nonetheless

and farm for shimanto
u should also get plymouth when u can
and brest also great
PR6 has catchup so u can put shimanto on catchup in research academy
so u also get her prints and can use her soon
since u dont want to use her before dev30
