this screen is picking your "Focus", it makes 3 out of the 5 research projects everytime you refresh to be the series you have focused
we advise not to focus PR1 to 3 because the ships are older and the prints can be replaced by coins instead of actually doing the research projects

PR ships come in "generations" so the "focus research" is to increase the chance that researches for then "geneneration" appear

yes, the new series have better gear and ships in general, and you can start getting their prints even before you start developing those ships
this is your "Catchup", when a new series is launched we usually get last year's series added here
for every series you can get up to 300 prints total for the PR (gold) ships, each DR (rainbow) ship gets 150
you can have 1 catchup active at any time and it gives you additional prints of the selected ship when you finish research projects

the catch up is to get free ship blueprints even if they arent supposed to appear

yes, everytime you finish a research project, you get "bonus" prints for your catchup selected, until it is all spent
