Ships are good, no especial need to change at present... of course, make retrofitting Unicorn a priority whenever you can; the retros for everyone else are at a lower priority
You will definitely want to try and open tech boxes as you can to get more equipment when you can. Also worth looking at what you can craft, although I imagine there isn't much worth crafting right now
Skills-wise, focus Hood's skill and Unicorn's Support Carrier first; these have the biggest impact by far and should therefore be finished first
