So I've had a few questions on my mind about the moderation regarding the recent incident of banning of a user and some other things i have experienced in the past which i would like to get answers to
i have a feeling this will be long so I'd like to clarify a few things in advance that this is genuinely out of my curiosity and is not targeted towards any particular person(s).
With that being said, my first question is why is calling someone minding their own business the word 'creepy' is alright and not seen as harrasment or bullying? If you do not like that person, why not just block them and ignore all their messages just like how its been advocated before. And why is it that when the user expresses they have been emotionally damaged by the harassment, they get banned. And why is it that different moderators give different answers to the question of why the user was banned, one says it was due to toxic behaviour that happened a bazillion times, another says that it was due to the attempts of riling up the chat against one user and then also public targeted harassment. Isn't calling someone creepy on multiple occasions and saying things like "if he was ten it means he`d be bannable alas" or "may the god hold me back" (looks like ban threats to me) be more of "toxicity" and "public targeted harassments"? why does the victim get banned while they try to stand up for themselves and speak out that they have been emotionally damaged and why do the assailants get out scot free and claim to be the victims?
