There was a tweet posted by @azurlane_staff (Azur Lane JP Twitter) back on July 3 that was a PSA announcement regarding Twitter account binds and how they will be discontinued for the JP version of the game:

It's most likely or guaranteed that this discontinuation will also apply to the EN version of the game as well. As such, given the importance of account security, I feel like some announcement should be made in #server-news that addresses the possibility of this happening and advises + warns people in this Discord to bind their AL game account to Yostar, Facebook, and/or Apple (for those playing the game on an iOS mobile device).
Knew this was something foreshadowed and was bound to happen since Twitter ended its free API policy back in February (https://www.forbes.com/sites/jenaebarnes/2023/02/03/twitter-ends-its-free-api-heres-who-will-be-affected/?sh=291b24016266)
