In the past we used to have open VC channels that anyone could join. The number of reports we used to get regarding things like toxicity, NSFW and general rule breaking that we couldn't verify due to the NATURE of Voice Chat not recording things was too high for our liking.
As such, we decided to make it so that VC requires a member of the moderation staff to curb these issues.
