i can probably push to world 6 at this rate, but i dunno how my 2nd fleet will keep up, since sometimes i run out of ammo on main

you can probably cruise on one fleet for now, i dont think its worth forcing a second fleet atm
farm levels on your ships that you use, level advantage makes a significant difference
