When i want to see the end date of the current event theres a reminder on the top of the channels on the discord server, the problem is that i cant see which Timezone is, the channel name just leave it at U... i would like to know which UTC is

doesnt sam use that one special encode for events that gives time based on timezones

Another option is having a chat channel with a message that get updated with the times/dates of the events using epoch time

#

example:
Fight On, Royal Maids! (Part 3) - ends <t:1668063599:f>, <t:1668063599:R>
here is the code Fight On, Royal Maids! (Part 3) - ends <t:1668063599:f>, <t:1668063599:R>

still i wont be more easier to make it fit cuz new discord member doesnt know that its UTC-7 unless they ask

You could cut year if needed I guess
On the other hand you can just hover over channel name or on phone hold on channel name to see

Yeah I can only see cutting the year as viable

wind path
#

you can just write month as a number, which is how it was originally designed...

Are you Australian as well, or is it the same for me too? Cause I see that as well, but events usually end at 5pm my time

#

The channel name is plaintext, it's the same for everyone

Alternatively check the channel description for #event-faq

ok then, my question for curiosity then, why cant the time of event end thing be used in the top of server?

wind path
#

timestamps cannot be used as channel names

Yall could also create a discord event for the event

#

Or a discord event for maint starting

I know my advice might be a bit too straightforward, but like

can't you just... remember at what time in your timezone server resets
maint doesn't start out of nowhere, it's always at server reset, same time every time InaWeird
the issue can be solved on the user-side

Yall could also create a discord event for the event
If looking up at pins/in #event-faq isn't intuitive, then neither will be looking in events. There's only so much handholding we can do. The issue isn't that there's nowhere to look up info, but that it's not immediately obvious, which is very difficult to solve.

Instead of having to rely on Discord how about they add a countdown ingame instead?
