Implementing proper slash commands would make the bot easier to use, I have experience with discord.js so I could help update the bot to the latest available versions

Upgraded version of Nimi is currently in works, tho I'm not sure if it'll use slash commands either, since our bot dev isn't too fond of them.
It'll be a while before its out anyway, so a lot could change till then.
And thanks for your suggestion to help, but I don't think the dev team is looking for more people now

Strongest argument for slash commands is that the discord client natively lists out the commands so users dont have to call /tags to see what the bot can do, and it autofills as you type
Imo its worth dealing with even if theyre not too fond of it lol
Oh and if theres additional arguments like opting in to a particular role, you can hard code in a select menu, takes the confusion out
