@reef crane traditional ones are typically filled with lotus paste, with a salted egg yolk in the middle. but the yolk is optional. the crust depends on where u get your mooncake tbh. some are kinda like a pie crust, and some is more towards pastry. its usually pretty sweet.
the modern ones however are all fangled. diff crusts such as mochi and jelly. fillings are generally whatever flavor u can think of. theres even ice cream filling.
