Oh right to answer an old question, you can do lineart type stuff on 3D models in two ways

One is called Freestyle, which renders them in post

The second is called ...inverse normals? It creates an inside out version of the mesh which is just slightly larger than the original mesh. So its then used to render black lines on the inside-out mesh which would display behind the normal mesh.

And that way you can get black lines around parts of your mesh to form outlines like a drawing

The lighting isnt reacting to this model well at all, mostly the face.

Any attempts to fix it are met with it being 100% the exact same. I even duplicated the face mesh and created a new topology test and it sitll did it.

I believe I had reused this face for a VTuber model that had a completely new face, so Im going to splice that in and see how it reacts

For future faces I’d recommend following guidelines like this as freehanding can make it way harder to place features correctly and replicate them the way you want them to be

Like when I used to freehand faces they’d look decent but once I started using guidelines like this it made the process easier and the end results usually end up looking more polished/accurate depending on what you’re going for

This is very problematic. The stabilizer of my Clip Studio Paint is not working properly and Paint Tool SAI relies too much on memory load and rejects any another additional edits to my artwork.

I have managed to fix all of the base colors of my artwork. However, the two current problems have prevented me from moving forward.
