the difference is so slight if you aren't very experienced with mechanical switches, you really wouldn't be able to feel the difference much and it's not really a big deal

the lower price on outemus will also sweeten the deal when going for outemus tho

mx switches are still considered the "elite" mechanical switch manufacturer by most, and it used to be, knockoff chinese brands (outemu, gateron, kaihl) weren't very good

but they've come a long way since then, and they are now pretty much on the same level as mx if not better due to the sheer amount of choice in types of switches

tl;dr : durability wise, you have nothing to fear, most chinese switches are just as good as mx, the tactile difference is so slight it comes down to personal taste at this point, and same colour will follow same philosophy (eg. outemu red/mx red= linear, outemu blue/mx blue= clicky and tactile bump)

ryzen is cheaper as odyssey said, you must also consider the fact that what you sacrifice in gaming you get back in productive applications that make use of multi threaded work loads like blender tho even then, there are still some other applications that still excell at making use of single core speeds rather than core count, like photoshop, intel is better there

intel also doesn't come with its own cooler, you MUST buy a separate one, ryzen comes with a half decent servicible cooler stock, (tho it's best if you buy a decent aftermarket one for amd aswell, but considering the fact that it's cheaper to begin with, it should be easier to budget the money)

all in all, the latest gen of intel cous has brought back the "intel for gaming, amd for production" meme that's been running for so long

but they are both great products

OK I'm finally stumped at this issue with the colors. It's likely because of the gamma correction however I'm not sure how to approach it.

Using internal format GL_SRGB8_ALPHA8 causes this but using 0x1908 (GL_RGBA) fixes it. It can be solved through shaders luckily. Any idea how though?
