Depends on the part in question. Different things have different thermal limits

E.g. Ryzen 1st gen parts have a 95C upper limit

Iirc

80C is not a comfortable temperature, but it is technically not at the throttling point for a lot of parts

So you will need to give more detail on what exactly is hitting 80C, including a part model if possible
