Should I just toss away my Sd card? I've been trying to format it in cmd for almost an hour and no progress whatsoever. This is my second attempt at formatting the card through cmd. and for the vast majority of applications the level of improvement you'd see from messing with it is inconsequential

BUT sometimes, in extremely niche cases, it's a big deal

for example for me, 100mhz is the difference between stutters and silky smooth frametimes in planetside

basically there's no good reason to keep your clock speed low if you can get it higher, cause even though it won't matter 95% of the time, 5% of the time it might

and that's worth it IMO

Alright so basically our first step is to find out how lucky you feel. Guaranteed safe voltage is 1.325v. You can safely run that without any issues no matter what, even if you're hitting your pc to the max all the time.

But technically you can go up to 1.4v if you don't put very much load on your computer

higher voltage is going to mean you can get it to go faster
