Well, yeah. Its like poker, like I said. There are certain actions to do that increase your odds but it does come down to RNG sometimes. Its how every server has a consistent group of high rankers every season. Honestly the only people who should be worrying about RNG are top players going for eos when a diffrence of one or two points actually matters. Average player can still reach gensui easily with only a little bonus.

And for most folks, gensui is the only thing that matters.

Do this by waiting for your opponents to play their matches

and then when they rank up, you attack them
