Formie+Centaur has pretty high chance of wiping VG. But there is still some RNG involved especially with Juneau. Also the fact that yukikaze can be completely invincible when she decides to. And sometimes their VG is in a weird position and the Ryusei just skip them and target Nagato. Which is sometimes a good thing if they finish her off but It's bad if it doesn't and their Juneau still alive.

not getting a full wipe and instead getting a roach yukikaze at low health is good though. Might even be more desirable than full wipe tbh

Have to agree with this. She works fine with kgv+monarch jsut because you often kill enemy vg in 5 secs flat therefore she survives, but then she dies first when comes close to enemy backline

Sirius is actually so perfect. Buff persists even after sunk and she's tanky enough to put in front no worries. Tanks just enough to sink at a good time and then mid Juneau takes the lead and dies with good timing as well.
