I found someone copyingy setup for def, and I can pretty confidently say it doesn't work for def

So I did a little.... Experiment. Ir worked for me specifically in that context but I think it was interesting.

I picked an enemy that was a little bit stronger than I was, and tried different comps trying to beat him. He had amakaga and belfap Eldridge and something else I don't remember.

If I used wasd + enty myself I'd get absolutely rekt. In fact, I couldn't even kill his eldridge before my Frontline died, with any Frontline comp. Even with torp meme squad.

Then I tried amakaga and switching the Frontline. I tried even swapping in stuff like mine and ayanami.

Interestingly enough, the only comp that manage to beat the enemy was Juneau jintsuu and aurora. Without aurora I couldn't possibly get through his eldridge. I found jintsuu dealt more reliable damage than ayanami. And I don't fancy rerolling the battle.

Also, another weird thing, Juneau even with worse gear, would gave me that little extra health to kill his backline. She had pearl. Even though Belfast had a lot better gear. On second thought, I didn't try using Belfast with pearl. Might give it a go.

But anyway. Yeah. The Frontline that best worked for me was Juneau aurora and jintsuu, along with amakaga.

its just point accumulation. get as many points as possible and your rank will gradually increase as long as you win all your matches and don't fight lower ranked opponents, do this everyday and don't miss your matches. you can further maximise your point accumulation by "sandbagging"

2 always keep at least 5 attempts unless ur gonna miss 2 resets in a row

basically how pvp works is that when you refresh you are matched with opponent of the same rank i.e. around the same points
when someone does his pvp he gains points and ranks higher. if he attacked someone of a similar rank he will get a base point of lets say +10. if he attacked someone who has 35 points more than him, he will get an extra point i.e. +11
so what you want to do is to wait for opponent to climb as high as possible. meaning to say he got lots more points than you (>35) then you attack him to get that sweet +11 instead of normal +10
if you do this consistently you will rank high at the end of the season

Your four opponents stayed and leftmost is rank 41 now, you fight him get 10 points but now you are stuck on rank 900 with 4 opponents of ranking 900 which give only 5 points. If you dont fight trying to rank higher you end up even more lower with even less points so I seriously dont get it

it depends on server mostly. in a high competitive one like avrora people always sandbag so u always have a chance that ur opponents are 5/10 like u are. if ur server has a lot of inactive people staying with top rankers is a better choice because u have active people in ur list that might do their attempts at once and u can gain extra points that way
