Having only 2 bombers means you launch faster and they are already half a launch ahead because of the skill. Yeah, their plane bombs are probably not the main draw as long as the frontline is around because of the trash modifiers, so the fact that you can damage the front and then crash into the back is what carries them a lot, but as soon as front is gone, all the bombs go to ships that get really fucked up by those and then they have to deal with the suicide damage too. Even if BBs hit all the shells, part of their damage is going to be fires so the dps comes slower. I am farily convinced that playing without a CV in pvp just to pressure the back and help deal with the front and the like might just be a mistake
