protagonist palm vortex with anything is really good. i use amber almost exclusively for when i need fire, a sniper, or to hit construct eyes. lisa only comes out when there's water around (or to guarantee hits on those pesky flies). my qiqi uses a sword that deals bonus damage against cryo, which she applies herself, so that's nice.
