Firstly, you keep switching subs to maintain oxygen, so you are always underwater.

Secondly, you hide in the corner until the boss appears.

Third, you move in small circles constantly while torping boss.

Just make sure to surface briefly for the row of mines right before the boss. That one, and only that one, will hit you.

I dont find the damage particularly problematic once you hit lvl 100 and got at least +10 purp torps equipped, but

the only problem I ever encounter is that sometimes the damage you take seems oddly high

like, the boss can 1shot a lvl 100 sub on a good day
