i connect my headset, but it registers my controller instead, even though that thing's not even on. feel free to DM me.

obvious questions first, does you comp have all the updated drivers for the bt device and have you tried turning it off and back on again?

some days it doesn't, other days it happens constantly.

sometimes restarting fixes it, sometimes it does not.

when you get the device working, do you remove it from remembered devices or do you just turn the device off?

im not on a win10 device rn so i cant help with screenshots unfortunately, but when you go to the bluetooth settings menu, does it show your headset at all and if so what does it say. also, maybe try removing/"forgetting" the controller from the bluetooth menu to see if that will prevent the headset from being recognized as the controller. its strange that it wont pair accurately since you arent removing the device from the bt menu and its forcing you to repair...shouldnt need to do that.

i'll just remove everything, restart, and pair things again. i don't think it'll fix it permanently, but it might get things to work for now.

what pisses me off is that it recognizes my headset, i watch a video, then it disconnects and recognizes my controller instead, even though i did absolutely nothing.
