not to mention events are designed solely around that idea

since grinding maps is your primary source of collecting the currency

tbh it's hard to avoid grind altogether in most games

both old times and the new, grinding serves one big role

to pad out the gameplay

so that you can't just breeze through and be done

in a way it's a negative thing

but it's something that has to exist, otherwise a game like AL you'd be done within 5-6 hours and then what do you do
