i dont really know much bout lecture hall but from what I've understood, you sortie with level 100 ships, the exp they would get (which they dont cause level 100) gets converted to proficiency in lecture hall; and you turn that profuciency into exp for non 100 ships, as you can see in the pic @raw osprey
